नयी दिल्ली, प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने सोमवार को सभी नवनियुक्त मंत्रियों के बीच विभागों का बंटवारा कर दिया। उन्होंने अपनी नयी मंत्रिपरिषद में वरिष्ठ नेता राजनाथ सिंह को रक्षा मंत्री, अमित शाह को गृह मंत्री, निर्मला सीतारमण को वित्त मंत्री और एस जयशंकर को विदेश मंत्री के पद पर बरकरार रखा है।
केंद्रीय मंत्रिपरिषद में शामिल किए गए नए मंत्रियों में मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान को कृषि और किसान कल्याण एवं ग्रामीण विकास विभाग, भाजपा अध्यक्ष जे पी नड्डा को स्वास्थ्य के साथ ही रसायन व उर्वरक विभाग और हरियाणा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर को ऊर्जा विभाग दिया गया है।
नितिन गडकरी सड़क परिवहन मंत्री, जबकि धर्मेंद्र प्रधान शिक्षा मंत्री बने रहेंगे।
किरेन रीजीजू को पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय से संसदीय कार्य मंत्रालय में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया है, जबकि अर्जुन राम मेघवाल कानून मंत्री बने रहेंगे।

एक आधिकारिक बयान के अनुसार सर्बानंद सोनोवाल पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय का जिम्मा संभालते रहेंगे।
कैबिनेट मंत्री और जनता दल (सेक्युलर) के नेता एच डी कुमारस्वामी को भारी उद्योग और इस्पात मंत्रालय की जिम्मेदारी मिली है। वहीं, जद (यू) के वरिष्ठ नेता ललन सिंह को पंचायती राज और मत्स्यपालन, पशुपालन एवं दुग्ध मंत्रालय की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है, जबकि लोक जनशक्ति पार्टी (रामविलास) के अध्यक्ष चिराग पासवान को खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्री बनाया गया है।
पीयूष गोयल वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री बने रहेंगे, जबकि पहली बार केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल में शामिल किए गए तेदेपा नेता राम मोहन नायडू को नागर विमानन मंत्रालय सौंपा गया है। ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया के मंत्रालय में बदलाव करते हुए उन्हें संचार मंत्री बनाया गया है। उन्हें पूर्वोत्तर मामलों के मंत्रालय की भी जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। पिछली सरकार में वह नागर विमानन मंत्री थे।
कैबिनेट मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव नए सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री होंगे। इसके साथ ही वह रेल मंत्रालय की जिम्मेदारी भी संभालते रहेंगे।
मोदी और 71 मंत्रियों ने रविवार को राष्ट्रपति भवन में एक समारोह में पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ ली थी।
